Terms of Membership & Membership Agreement. The following is the Membership Agreement between Rocket UK Ltd (“We and Us”) and the person whose name appears on the Welcome Letter overleaf (“You”). You are urged to read the terms of Membership and Membership agreement carefully and to communicate any questions that may arise to our Membership Services Team on 08448 80 90 80.
Membership Benefits: As a Club member, you are entitled to discounts and/or other Benefits on products and services offered by participating suppliers (“Benefits”) as explained in the Membership Guide. Use of Membership: Your Membership is non-transferable. You will promptly notify us if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your Membership Card or Membership Number, or if your Membership Card is lost or stolen. Disclaimer of Liability: You agree that we are not responsible or liable for any of the Benefits provided by participating suppliers and if you have any claims relating to any of these Benefits, You will only claim directly against the suppliers providing the Benefit. This is subject and governed by their Terms and Conditions. WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH RESPECT TO ANY OF THE MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS OR RELATED INFORMATION PROVIDED TO YOU. ROCKET UK LTDs LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED YOUR CURRENT MEMBERSHIP FEE AND UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL ROCKET UK BE LIABLE FOR YOUR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. These terms do not affect those of your statutory rights. We reserve the right to eliminate, add, change and substitute Benefits and participating providers without notice to you. We assume no responsibility for the payment of or contribution to any use or sales tax, which taxing authorities may impose and such taxes, to the extent, imposed, shall remain your sole responsibility or that of the provider of the Benefits, as the case may be. Entire Agreement: This Agreement contains all of the Terms of Membership and representations, promises or agreements concerning the Membership not included in this Agreement shall not be effective or enforceable, if any of the terms of this Agreement shall become invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms shall not be affected. Governing Law: This Agreement and the Terms of Membership shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK law. Data Protection: Your personal details will be held by Rocket UK Ltd and are used exclusively by The Big Savings Club for Membership administration and marketing purposes if they are deemed to be in the interest of our members. By joining the programme you expressly consent to this. First Year Membership Term: You are on a Free 30 Day Trial, and Annual Membership will commence after the Trial period has finished. You have been charged a non-refundable administration charge for this Trial. The Trial period was notified to you when you agreed to take the trial membership and is confirmed in the Welcome Letter. Unless you notify us that you wish to terminate your membership within the trial period by calling our membership services team on 08448 80 90 80, your membership will be automatically extended for a further 12 months at a cost of £99.99. If we are unable to bill your specified billing source, you agree to provide an alternative billing source or pay us by cheque. Once your membership fees are paid, you will be entitled to all Membership services for the remaining Membership term. Annual Membership Reward Pack: You can claim your free Annual Membership Reward Pack at any time. You are then still entitled to cancel your membership and receive a refund, but you must return The Annual Membership Rewards Pack in an unused and original condition. All returns must be advised to us within the days stated in the Cancellation of Membership terms to be eligible for a refund. Cancellation & Refund on First Year Membership Term: To cancel your Membership, please call the Membership Services Team on 08448 80 90 80. You will be given a Cancellation Reference which you should keep safely. If you wish to cancel your Membership between day 31 and 60 (from your joining date as a Trial Member), you will be eligible for a full refund, less a transaction and administration cost of £5.00. We will refund your card therefore with £94.99. No refund will be available once your Membership has reached 61 days. These rights are in addition to the standard policy as outlined in the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations of 2000. Renewal Membership: We will send you a letter reminding you of your membership renewal 21 days prior to your annual renewal date, explaining the renewal procedure and Membership cost. Unless you notify us that you wish to terminate your membership before your second year membership is due to renew, Renewal payment will be taken from your original billing details. If we are unable to bill your specified billing source, you agree to provide an alternative billing source or pay us by cheque. We reserve the right to increase or decrease the enrolment fee for each renewal Membership term effective upon renewal of your membership Renewed Membership Term: Your Membership is re-activated for a period of twelve months commencing from the date shown on your Welcome Letter. Cancellation and Refund on Renewal Membership Term: To cancel the Renewal of your Club Membership, please call the Membership Services Team on 08448 80 90 80. You will be given a Cancellation Reference which you should keep safely. If you wish to cancel your Renewal Membership between day 1 and 21, we will refund your card with £74.99 and you should return in full your Annual Member Rewards Pack and Membership Card. No refund will be awarded once your Renewal Membership has reached 22 days.
